Complete history of the Liberation War should be presented correctly

Minister of Liberation War AKM Mozammel Haque said, the history of liberation war is not enough in the curriculum. It needs to be enriched. The media and researchers should be more active to present the complete history of the Great War of Liberation before the nation.

He made this call as the chief guest at the ‘Bazlur Rahman Smriti Padak’ awarding ceremony for Liberation War journalism at the Liberation War Museum in the capital yesterday.

He said, it is not enough to preserve the history of brave freedom fighters. Along with this, the history of how the Pakistan invasion forces, Razakars, Albadar, Alshams killed, looted, set fire and tortured the unarmed Bengalis should be highlighted. These should be in the syllabus. Otherwise, future generations will not know the real history.
