“Iran’s President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi is going to attend the United Nations General Assembly session. It is reported that President Raisi will board a plane today with his delegation for the trip.”
In addition to delivering a speech at the United Nations General Assembly session in New York, President Raisi of Iran will also hold meetings with various presidents and prime ministers from different countries. Furthermore, he will address a gathering of Iranian residents in the United States.
Despite not having any diplomatic relations with the United States, Iran’s President regularly participates in the annual meetings of the largest international organization, the United Nations.
Many of Iran’s past presidents have indeed used the platform of the United Nations General Assembly to deliver speeches against imperialism and express their opposition to empire-building. Their speeches have played a significant role in raising awareness about these issues among the international community.
