Metrorail was running six days a week except Friday. However, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the Metrorail managing company, is working to provide services to passengers on Fridays as well.
The people concerned are expecting the metro rail to run on Friday as well.
DMTCL Managing Director AAN Siddique confirmed the matter on Monday (September 2).
Metrorail has been running six days a week except Fridays since its full schedule. Then this new decision came. However, it is not known exactly which Friday it will run from.
DMTCL Managing Director AAN Siddique said that several works including software changes have to be done to keep the Metrorail running on Friday. The team is preparing for this.
