State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has said that the lockdown after Eid will be tougher than ever. All government and non-government organizations including garments, industries and factories will be closed in this lockdown starting from July 23.
The minister said, it has been decided to relax the lockdown on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha considering the country’s economy. We have a huge economy around this Eid sacrifice. Many have raised cows. Considering everything, we have had to relax the restrictions on movement. But we have to follow the hygiene rules.
He was speaking at the concluding parade of the 96th BGB recruit batch at the BGB headquarters in Chuadanga-6 on Saturday (July 18th).
When the state minister drew attention to the concern of the National Corona Infection Prevention Advisory Committee that the lockdown could go out of control in the country, he said the government had decided to relax the lockdown considering the country’s economy and Muslim religious rituals.
