All tourist destinations in the country are being reopened from Thursday (August 19th) after a long hiatus due to coronavirus. Earlier, half of the seats were running in half, but from today, all public transport is also expected to be launched.
The concerned businessmen are breathing a sigh of relief as they have been allowed to open public transport and tourist centers after a long time. However, the government has instructed everyone to abide by the health rules.
Last Thursday (August 12), the Cabinet Division issued a notification to launch tourist centers and all public transport.
According to the notification, all types of public transport will be able to operate by road, rail and water by following proper hygiene rules. Tourist centers, resorts, community centers and recreation centers will be able to operate using 50 per cent of the number of seats.
The notification further said that the wearing of masks should be ensured in all cases and the hygiene rules framed by the Department of Health should be followed properly.
The circular also said that if any negligence is observed in the observance of health rules, the concerned authorities will take responsibility and legal action will be taken against them.
