Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has left for Russia on a seven-day visit. During his stay in Russia, he will observe the country’s parliamentary elections.
The CEC left Dhaka for the country on Thursday (September 18) at 10:15 am on Emirates Airlines flight EK-583. The Chief Election Commissioner was accompanied by his Private Secretary Abul Kashem Mohammad Mazharul Islam. The concerned people of the Election Commission gave this information.

Bangladesh, however, plans to hold EVM voting in most of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to the EC, the CEC will observe the elections in Russia from September 17 to 19. After that, he will return to the country after completing other work.
