The bus owners decided to implement half fare for students

The bus owners have decided to implement ‘half fare’ for students on public transport from tomorrow.

Khandaker Enayet Ullah, secretary-general of the Road Transport Owners Association, said this at a press conference on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in the capital.

The half-fare will be effective from December 1. You have to show your ID card at the time of half rent. Half rent will not be effective on holidays. Half rent is not only applicable for other districts limited to Dhaka.

It was further informed that students would pay half fare from 8 am to 8 pm. If you get on the bus after this time, you have to pay the full fare.

At the press conference, he requested that the students were protesting for half rent return home immediately.

Earlier, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader briefed the private bus owners on effective half fare for students.
