On Wednesday, AFP reported, Antonio Guterres was scheduled to attend the UN Press Association event in Manhattan, New York. But being in Isolation, he will not be able to participate there.
He was also scheduled to attend a meeting of the UN Security Council on Thursday to address the challenges of climate change and terrorism. His absence there is almost certain.
Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General’s Spokesman Stephen Dujarric declined to comment on Antonio Guterres’ condition. However, he said Guterres had already taken both doses of the Corona vaccine, and just a few days ago, he took a booster dose of the vaccine.
