Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Dr. MD Abdur Razzaque yesterday said the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to develop the fate of the farmers.
“Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the genuine friend of country’s agriculture and farmers. The agriculture minister said the government has adopted different steps like increasing export of agricultural products, giving big subsidies and also implementing these to develop the farmer’s fate of the country.
Presided over by Krishok League President Samir Chanda, the discussion was also addressed, among others, by former Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Begum Matia Chowdhury, Awami League Agriculture and Cooperation Secretary Faridunnahar Laili and Krishok League General Secretary Umme Kulsum Sriti.
