Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to her village home Tungipara in Gopalganj by road via Padma Bridge.
The Prime Minister started her journey from her official residence Ganobhaban to Tungipara around 8 am on Monday. Son Sajib Wazed Joy and daughter Saima Wazed Putul are also with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
At 8:48 am, Sheikh Hasina climbed the Padma Bridge toll plaza at Mawa Toll Plaza.

At about 9:15 a.m. he went to the Jazira end and stood there for a while in front of the plaque. After that he rested for some time in Service Area-2 on the edge of Jazira.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to reach Tungipara in Gopalganj by 11am. There, he will lay a wreath at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, recite Surah Fateha and take part in munajat.
He is scheduled to return to Dhaka later to take part in various government programs in Tungipara.
