Enamul Haque’s death is a tragedy for the nation: Hasan

Information and Broadcasting Minister and Joint General Secretary of the Awami League Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, historian, archaeologist and art researcher and multi-talented the death of Dr. Enamul Haque is a tragedy for the nation.

He said yesterday afternoon at the premises of the National Museum in the capital Shahbag. He told reporters after laying a wreath at the coffin of Muhammad Enamul Haque. Note that last July 10. Enamul Haque died at his residence in the capital. He was 85 years old.

The minister said the country’s highest civilian medal, the Independence Medal, the Ekushey Medal, India’s Padma Shri medal. Enamul Haque was a good man. He was the Director General of the National Museum for many years and before that he was also the Director of the Dhaka Museum. He has not only contributed to the country, but also to Bangladesh. If we could get such a good man for a few more days, he could have contributed more to the national life.

Dr. Hassan expressed deep grief and respect for the death of archaeologist Enamul Haque, prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and prayed to the Creator so that his family could bear the grief. The minister said. There is a lot to learn from Enamul Haque’s life. Those who have learned from him will be able to contribute to the national life.

Earlier, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni in his speech late Dr. Enamul sought forgiveness for Haque’s departed soul and prayed for his abode in Paradise. The minister said,  Even though Dr. Enamul Haque was such a virtuous person, he was very good-natured. The archeological arena of the country is indebted to him in many ways.
