Parliament election according to the country’s constitution: Obaidul Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Bangladesh Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has condemned and protested the purposeful and misguided statements of BNP leaders including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. In a statement on Sunday (March 5), he said that the next parliamentary elections will be held by the country’s constitution. In the statement, Obaidul Quader also said that the BNP leaders should understand that there is no use in trying to resist the election and question the election process. People’s verdicts will change the power only by constitutional means. We call upon the BNP to shun the path of conspiracy and return to democratic politics; Participate in the elections. Obaidul Quader MP said, BNP has resorted to its old tricks and started the campaign of questioning the election and election process. Elections will be held in due time in the country as per the constitutional provisions. BNP is afraid to participate in elections. Therefore, due to their continuous failure in the elections, BNP has started a conspiracy to deliberately question the constitutional and democratic process of change of state power. Awami League General Secretary said, BNP is the main obstacle to the constitutional and democratic process of this country; All evil forces of Bangladeshi politics are represented. Rejected by the people again and again, BNP today blames the nation for its failure. They even changed the constitution of the organization to legitimize their corrupt leadership. He also said that the whole world is going through a crisis due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Even in this crisis, leader Sheikh Hasina continues to protect the people of the country. Bangladesh is in a good position compared to many countries in the world. Awami League General Secretary said, United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) President Saba Karosi praised Bangladesh’s economic progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and described it as a miracle. On the other hand, an article in London-based The Economist highlighted the economic miracle of Bangladesh during the crisis. It is mentioned in that article, “Bangladesh’s model of development has been widely praised around the world.” Under the leadership of the successful statesman Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina, the amazing progress and development of Bangladesh have become the sole goal and objective of BNP politics. So they are making conspiracies one after another inside and outside the country.
