The last date for submission of nominations is June 15, after which the final scrutiny will be completed by June 18.
Dhaka-17 by-election will be held on July 17. This seat fell vacant after the death of MP and actor Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq.
Today, Thursday (June 1), Election Commissioner Jahangir Alam told reporters that by-elections will be held through ballots from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
