Bangladesh will play a series against New Zealand at home before the One Day World Cup. This series includes three One Day matches and is considered important for evaluating key players. Despite resting several regular cricketers, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has prepared the Tigers and the Kiwi squad for this series.
After the One Day World Cup, Bangladesh will start a Test series against New Zealand. Additionally, in December, there is a T20 series consisting of 2 One Day matches and 3 T20 matches.
On September 16, Liton Kumar Das was announced as the captain for the first two One Day matches in the New Zealand series. Mahmudullah Riyadh is part of the squad along with Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Taskin Ahmed, among others. While several regular cricketers have been given rest, Mahmudullah, a beloved star, is eagerly awaited by the fans.

1st One Day: September 21, 2023
2nd One Day: September 23,2023
3rd One Day: September 26, 2023
Each One Day match will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, starting from 2:00 PM.
And here is the schedule for the Test matches:
1st Test: November 28 to December 2
2nd Test: December 2 to December 10
Both Test matches will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, starting at 9:30 AM.
