Roman Padun, the administrative head of the city of Kurakhove, stated that the city caught fire due to two air strikes.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian armed forces reported that their military aircraft had struck a Russian base on the Crimean Peninsula. This base had been established by the Russians on the annexed island.
Oleksandr Prykodun, the regional governor of Kherson, mentioned that a residential building was damaged in the Russian attack, resulting in two fatalities and five injuries.
The chief of Kyiv’s military administration, Serhiy Popko, has stated on Telegram that Ukraine’s air defense system has destroyed Russian drones in the Ukrainian capital, preventing their impact and minimizing the damage in Kyiv.

In northeastern Ukraine, Oleh Sinyehubov, the regional governor of Kharkiv, stated that at least six Russian missiles struck the city of Kharkiv, causing substantial damage to civilian infrastructure.
Poland had initially issued an embargo on grain imports from Ukraine with the aim of safeguarding its own farmers. However, the Polish government has since made a statement saying they are temporarily lifting the grain embargo from Ukraine, with the goal of helping Ukrainian farmers. This has led to tensions between Poland and Ukraine.
On Thursday, Ukraine called on Poland to sign an agreement to end the grain embargo.
