Villages now transformed into cities under Prime Minister’s leadership: Environment Minister

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister. Shahab Uddin said that the villages of the country have now been transformed into cities through extensive economic development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Any backward country in the world is now following Bangladesh as a role model for development.

We all have to prove that we are all in favor of Sheikh Hasina, the shaper of development, by voting for the boat brand in the upcoming national elections.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed fire service and civil defense station at Juri in Moulvibazar on Sunday (September 24).

Shahab Uddin said, the long-standing demand of the people of Juri has been fulfilled by opening the fire service station. Now if there is a fire or an accident somewhere, the staff of this station will risk their lives. In case of such an accident, the fire service station should be reported immediately.

Regarding the development of the area, the minister said that the work of Sheikh Russell Mini Stadium has been completed, the work of Model Mosque and Upazila Muktijoddha Complex will begin. There is no alternative to the boat marker in the next election to continue the trend of development.

Among others present in the event were Juri Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha MA Moeed Farooq, Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Ranjan Chandra Dey, Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense Sylhet Region. Moniruzzaman, Moulvibazar Public Works Department Executive Engineer Mahmudul Hasan, Upazila Awami League President Masuk Miah, Upazila Vice Chairman Rinku Ranjan Das, Women Vice Chairman Ranjit Sharma and others.

It is to be noted that fire service and civil defense stations have been constructed in Juri upazila at a cost of Tk. Besides, vehicles and other logistic support have been provided at a cost of about 2 crore rupees.
