From September 26th to October 4th, the exam period was in effect. The starting date of the exams remained unchanged, but the ending date was extended until October 8th.
On Sunday, October 1st, a letter signed by Professor M. Abul Bashar, the Controller of Examinations for the Dhaka Board, was sent to all centers under the board’s jurisdiction.
After completing the exams, practical marks should be entered online or submitted to the board according to the instructions of the Controller of Examinations in chronological order of roll numbers, along with practical answer scripts, memoranda, and other documents by October 9th.
While the HSC exams started on August 17th for eight education boards, due to natural calamities, the exams for the Chittagong vocational and madrasa boards commenced on August 27th.
According to the Ministry of Education, this year, a total of 1,359,342 students will participate in the exams, which is more than 155,935 students compared to the previous year. Among them, there are 688,887 male students and 670,455 female students.
In all subjects, full marks and full time are allocated for the exams for the coming year. However, for ICT, the exam is set for 75 marks instead of 100 marks.
This year, a total of 1,359,342 students will take the HSC and equivalent exams under the 11 education boards of the country, including 688,887 male students and 670,455 female students. There are a total of 9,169 educational institutions in the country. In 2022, a total of 1,203,407 students appeared for the exams under all boards, which means there is an increase of 155,935 students this year.
