The beauty of cricket is right here!

Many people thought the young boy was probably Afghan, considering England’s loss to Afghanistan in a cricket match in Delhi on Sunday, which stunned the cricket world. It was one of the most remarkable events in the history of the World Cup. After Afghanistan’s victory over the current champions, Mujib was standing in a corner of the field, crying as he held a young boy in a white T-shirt. Mujib revealed the identity of that boy in a post on social media, stating, “The boy is not Afghan; he is a young Indian who was very happy with our victory. I met this boy from Delhi, India, and liked him a lot, not just for cricket but also for the enthusiasm. Thanks to all the supporters for supporting us.”

At the end of the game, Mujib comforted the boy by giving him water from his own bottle.

Afghanistan batted first and scored 284 runs before taking the field. England was bowled out for 215 runs in 40.3 overs. Afghanistan’s historic victory at the World Cup saw them win by 51 runs, taking 3 wickets. Mujib played a crucial role in the match, scoring 28 runs with a six and three fours in just 16 balls. He received the Man of the Match award and, at the end of the award ceremony, Mujib received the love of that Indian fan.
