After Afghanistan’s victory over the current champions, Mujib was standing in a corner of the field, crying as he held a young boy in a white T-shirt. Mujib revealed the identity of that boy in a post on social media, stating, “The boy is not Afghan; he is a young Indian who was very happy with our victory. I met this boy from Delhi, India, and liked him a lot, not just for cricket but also for the enthusiasm. Thanks to all the supporters for supporting us.”
