Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed Health Minister Zahid Maleque to provide medical care and essential medicines to the thousands of injured and helpless people in Gaza, Palestine, who have been affected by Israel’s bombing attack.
On Wednesday (October 18), during the “Sheikh Russell Day-2023” celebration organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the presence of the Prime Minister, Health Minister Zahid Maleque informed the audience about the Prime Minister’s directive.
During the afternoon, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina instructed him over the phone, stating that she understands the suffering of the people of Palestine and empathizes with the pain experienced by women and children affected by Israel’s attack. She has personal experience with the suffering caused by injuries in her own life. To address the needs of the helpless people in Palestine, she has directed the Ministry of Health to provide medical assistance and support.
