Qatar-brokered ceasefire in Gaza intensified

The United Nations has warned that a critical situation is unfolding in Gaza, Palestine. Amidst this situation, there is strong international emphasis on ceasefire and the release of detainees through Qatar’s mediation. Israel, however, continues to oppose any form of ceasefire. In the Israeli attacks on Gaza, the death toll has risen to 7,326, with over three thousand being children. Additionally, in the Israeli campaign on the western coast, 110 more Palestinians have lost their lives.

Al-Jazeera has reported that discussions on the ceasefire and the release of detainees through Qatar’s mediation are progressing swiftly. This recent development is seen as a new turn in the three-week-long bloody conflict. On October 7th, in response to Hamas’s attack in Israel, Israel initiated an attack on Gaza.
