Dhaka: Members of the opposition party, Jatiya Party (JP), in the parliament have congratulated Saima Wazed, the daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and an autism specialist.
Saima Wazed has achieved success by winning the position of Regional Director for Southeast Asia of the World Health Organization (WHO). During this time, they also congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
On Wednesday (November 1), they praised her for her involvement in the discussion on the New Development Bank Bill-2023 in the National Parliament.
At first, Fakhrul Imam, a member of the National Party’s Presidium, raised the context, saying that Saima Wazed had won the election. She received eight out of 11 votes (she had voting rights in 10 countries). We thank her, especially her mother, our Prime Minister.
Another member of the National Party’s Presidium, Kazi Firoz Rashid, said it was her deserving honor because despite having so many degrees and knowledge, she has worked on autism in Bangladesh. She has benefited those with autism. She has made her family prosper. Before, the cost of parents and father-mother for disabled children would decrease.
Rauson Ara Mannan, a member of the National Party, said she was qualified for victory. Saima Wazed, an eligible daughter of an eligible mother, has to be thanked.
After the members’ speeches of the opposition party, Finance Minister Anisul Haque congratulated Saima Wazed for passing the bill. He said that Saima Wazed would achieve more success in her field and prayed for it.
