70 hostages will be released after five-day ceasefire: Hamas spokesman

Hamas has announced its readiness to observe a five-day ceasefire in Gaza, allowing the release of up to 70 women and children, according to the armed wing of the organization, Al-Qassam Brigades. The military branch of the Palestinian freedom-seeking organization conveyed this information yesterday, Monday.

Audio clips of Abu Ubaidah, the spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, were released on Hamas’s Telegram channel. In the clip, he stated, ‘This ceasefire must be complete, and during this period of ceasefire, there should be an opportunity to provide humanitarian assistance, including relief, throughout the Gaza Strip.’
