An Israeli airstrike has targeted a mosque in the besieged Gaza Strip. The attack has resulted in 50 casualties, as reported by the Palestinian national news agency Wafa. The media outlet stated that the Israeli military carried out the airstrike on a mosque in the central Al-Sabra area of the Gaza Strip. Several people were injured in the attack.
In addition to this, another incident occurred in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, where a telecommunication tower was targeted. This attack resulted in the loss of a child’s life.
The current escalation of conflict dates back to October 7 when the militant organization Hamas, advocating for Palestinian independence, launched an attack in Israeli territory. Subsequently, Israeli forces-initiated airstrikes in response, leading to a cycle of violence in the Gaza Strip.
