Barisal’s Daughter Rosa won the Women Entrepreneur Award in New York

Dhaka: Rozina Ahmed, the founder and CEO of Rogers Bridal Makeover, has been honored with the prestigious U.S.-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (USBCCI) Women Entrepreneur Award 2023 in New York, USA. She received this recognition for her notable contributions to the beauty industry in Bangladesh and the United States.

Rozina Ahmed achieved this accolade at the USBCCI Women Entrepreneur Award 2023 event held on Monday (November 20) in New York. This initiative, aimed at acknowledging and encouraging women entrepreneurs, is organized by the USBCCI. The Women Entrepreneur Award ceremony is held annually on November 19, which is recognized as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day or Women’s Entrepreneurship Day by the United Nations. In this program, USBCCI honors 25 women entrepreneurs each year. Members of the American Bangladeshi community were present at the event.

Starting her journey as an entrepreneur from Barishal in 2017, Rozina Ahmed has gained recognition throughout Bangladesh for her diverse work in the field of makeup. Her makeup videos have gained popularity on various social media platforms. Besides specializing in bridal makeovers, Rozina has also conducted makeup classes nationwide, contributing significantly to women’s empowerment.

Rozina Ahmed’s success story has now transcended national boundaries, reaching the United States as well. She has already achieved recognition for her clothing brand, ‘Lady Wear.’ In addition to maintaining quality standards in the beauty and fashion industry, Rozina has also been engaged in socially impactful work.
