Alongside education, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed hope that the upcoming generations will develop themselves through sports and cultural activities. Speaking at the final match and prize-giving ceremony of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament 2023 and the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament 2023, the Prime Minister said that mini stadiums will be built in every upazila for the development of sports.”
