The inauguration took place at the Artillery Center and School newly constructed in Halishahar cantonment in Chittagong on Sunday (April 21).
At the event organized at the Artillery Center and School, she inaugurated the complex.
At the end of the inauguration, the Prime Minister visited the newly constructed Artillery Museum at the ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Battery Complex’. During this time, she observed the realistic representation of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the historic 3.7-inch Howitzer, the replicas of artillery used in the artillery regiment, and the glorious history of notable operations of the artillery forces during the Liberation War.
Later, the Prime Minister hosted a darbar for members of the armed forces holding all ranks.
Members of the Cabinet, chiefs of the three services, members of parliament, distinguished individuals, senior military and civilian officials, officers of various ranks, representatives of JESO, other ranks of the armed forces, and media personnel were present at the event.
