Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a press conference regarding her visit to China tomorrow, Sunday.
In a press release on Saturday (July 13), the Prime Minister’s Press Wing announced that the press conference will be held at Ganabhaban at 4 PM on Sunday.
Earlier, on Monday evening, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina embarked on a three-day bilateral visit to Beijing, the capital of China. This was her first visit to China since forming the government for the fourth consecutive term.
During the bilateral meeting between China’s Premier Li Qiang and Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh and China signed 21 memoranda of understanding and agreements in their presence. Additionally, the two countries signed seven declarations.
Officials are hopeful that this visit has elevated the relationship between the two countries from a ‘strategic partnership’ to a ‘comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.’
Sheikh Hasina returned to the country on Wednesday night (July 10) local time.
