Drizzle in the capital, gusty winds of 60 km in 12 regions

There is no sun in the capital. It is drizzling Apart from this, 12 regions of the country have a glimpse of a storm with a speed of 60 km.

The Meteorological Office has made such a forecast on Wednesday (August 21).

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman said, over Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Dhaka, Faridpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet region, 45-60 km per hour from south-southeast direction. Rain/Thundershower with gusty/gusty winds at times. The river ports in these areas have been asked to show signal number 01.

According to another forecast, the low pressure over the central and adjoining areas of Bangladesh has become insignificant and has converged with the monsoon axis. The extension of monsoon axis extends over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong over North Bay of Bengal.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower with gusty/stormy winds may occur temporarily at most places of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places of Rangpur division till Thursday (August 22) morning. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

From Thursday morning to Friday (August 23) morning, most places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places of Rangpur division may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rains in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

From Friday morning to Saturday (August 24) morning, most places of Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places of Khulna, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.  

The rainfall trend may decrease towards the end of the extended five days.
