Erdoğan’s phone call to Yunus, promises to help flood victims

The chief adviser of the interim government. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Muhammad Yunus by phone. He promised to provide humanitarian aid for flood victims in Bangladesh.
This information was informed in a press release sent to the media from the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser on Tuesday.

In a phone conversation, expressing grief over the loss of life and property in the flood-affected areas of Bangladesh, Erdoğan said that Turkey would provide humanitarian assistance to the flood victims. Türkiye will send a high-powered delegation to support Bangladesh’s reconstruction efforts.

Muhammad Yunus thanked the Turkish President for his promise to stand by the flood victims.

The Turkish President invited the Chief Adviser to visit Turkey. Dr. Yunus accepted the invitation and said that he will visit Türkiye at a convenient time.

The Chief Adviser also invited President Erdoğan to visit Bangladesh. Erdogan accepted the invitation.
