Bangladesh is getting the aroma of victory with Hasan’s double hit

Mohammad Rizwan could have been out on the first ball if Sadman Islam had not missed the catch. But as long as he stayed, he was a thorn in the neck of Bangladesh.

Agha was walking towards the big couple with Salman. But in the second session of the day, Hasan Mahmud sent him back to court. Bangladesh also gets a breakthrough. Hasan found the wicket in the next ball as well, raising the possibility of a hat-trick. That didn’t happen though. However, with his double hit, the Tigers are getting a good taste of victory.

Bangladesh and Pakistan meet in the final of the two-match Test series in Rawalpindi. The hosts were all out for 274 runs in the first innings. Bangladesh made 262 runs in their first innings. Pakistan scored 145 runs for the loss of 8 wickets till writing this report on the fourth day. The lead is 157 runs. Agha Salman 24 and Abrar Ahmed are batting for 2 runs.

Earlier in the day Khurram Shehzad got out and the game ended. Then Shaan Masood joined Sayem Ayyub at the start of the fourth day. Taskin Ahmed broke their pair in the ninth over of the day. Nazmul Hossain Shanto took his great catch at mid-off when he was about to drive. Ayub returned with 20 runs off 35 balls.

After six consecutive overs, Taskin was removed by Nahid Rana. This pacer bowled a brilliant spell. Get wickets in three consecutive overs. It started with Pakistan captain Shan Masood.  

Good length ball out, Shan Masood goes to drive, but the ball hits the wicketkeeper’s gloves. He scored 28 runs off 34 balls. Babar Azam also got out in the next over. After scoring 11 runs off 18 balls, he was caught by Sadman Islam at slip.  

Nahid could have got another wicket in the next ball. But Sadman could not move the catch left by Rizwan on the first ball he faced. However, Nahid got a wicket.  

Saud Shakil, who scored 2 runs off 10 balls, was caught by wicketkeeper Liton. Before the lunch break, however, Bangladesh suffered the loss of Rizwan’s catch. Hasan sent back Rizwan (43) in the fifth ball after coming to bowl his first over in the second session. The Pakistani batsman caught Liton Das while driving the ball outside the off-stump. The next ball, Nazmul Hossain who was in the slip caught Shanto, Mohammad Ali returned to Sazghar.
