The Bangladesh Women’s Football Team has won the SAFF Championship title for the second consecutive time. In recognition of their remarkable performance, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFF) has announced a reward of 15 million taka.

Today, Saturday, the newly elected BAFF committee held its first meeting. After the meeting, Amirul Islam Babu, head of the media committee, briefed the press and announced the 15 million taka reward for Sabina, Maria, Tahura, and their team.

Previously, the Ministry of Sports had announced a 10 million taka reward for the champion women’s team after their SAFF victory. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also announced a reward. There was, however, anticipation to see what reward would come from BAFF. Finally, the newly formed committee under President Tabith Awal has announced this prize for the women’s team.
