Donald Trump has officially taken the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States, marking the beginning of his second term. The ceremony took place on Monday at 11 PM Bangladesh time, inside the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.

The event was marked by a ceremonial gun salute and the playing of “Hail to the Chief.” Prior to Trump’s oath, the newly elected Vice President, J.G. Vance, was also sworn in. Trump took his oath with two Bibles—one gifted by his mother and the other Abraham Lincoln’s Bible—vowing to uphold and protect the U.S. Constitution.
