Two Benches Formed in Appellate Division for Conducting Judicial Proceedings

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has formed two benches in the Appellate Division to conduct judicial proceedings.

The cause list for the Appellate Division for Sunday (April 20) has been published on the Supreme Court’s website.

According to the list, the first bench under the Chief Justice’s court includes Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury, Justice Md. Rezaul Haque, and Justice Farah Mahbub.

The second bench includes Justice Md. Ashfaqul Islam, Justice S. M. Emdadul Haque, and Justice A. K. M. Asaduzzaman.

On March 24, the President appointed two High Court Division judges to the Appellate Division. They are Justice A. K. M. Asaduzzaman and Justice Farah Mahbub.

The following day at 10:30 a.m., Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath to the two justices in the Judges’ Lounge of the Supreme Court. After that, the two benches were formed.
