Bangladeshi teenager Mansif Helali has bagged the third place in the global video blogging competition organized by the Council for Cultural Relations of India (ICCR). He has achieved this feat in the youth section due to his extraordinary skills in various postures of yoga. He won one thousand US dollars as a prize.
At a function organized at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy handed over the check to Mansif Helali in the presence of his family and High Commission officials and congratulated him. Mr. Helali has been practicing yoga for the last 11 years.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) launched a global video blogging competition in June 2020 entitled ‘My Life is My Yoga’. Despite the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic, the competition received an overwhelming response around the world due to the growing interest of yoga in maintaining good health in the fight against covid. As a result, participants from around the world uploaded a large number of videos for this global video blogging competition titled ‘My Life is My Yoga’. Statistics show that the highest number of participants was from Bangladesh.
