The Chief Advisor mentioned the looting in the financial sector and the stock market. He also mentioned the strict stance of the government against corruption.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, ‘After the fascist government left the country in the face of popular anger, we want to build a country where the human rights of every citizen will be fully protected. Our goal is only one – a liberal, democratic, non-discriminatory, non-communal Bangladesh. We are one family. We have one goal. We are committed to not allowing any differences to hinder our dreams.’

I sincerely thank you for the support I am getting from you in the first stage of the work of reforming the state. We understand that your expectations from us are high. We are determined to fulfill this expectation. Despite the long absence of democracy, 15 years of fascist rule left us with a mountain of challenges in almost every area. But we are ready to accept this challenge. Today I have come before you to seek your prayers and cooperation on behalf of the government. I’ll just say, you have to be patient.’
Urging everyone to be patient and cooperate with the government to build a new Bangladesh. Muhammad Yunus said, the tendency to force to fulfill all the demands, to enter the institution and threaten individuals, to create pressure to accept the case, to attack the person arrested for trial and to give some kind of trial in advance, should be removed. The glory and potential of the students’ revolution will be dimmed in these activities, and the efforts to build a new Bangladesh will also be disrupted.
