One person died of dengue, hospitalization 463

One more person has died due to dengue infection in the last 24 hours and 463 people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue infection across the country.

This information was informed in a press release about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Sunday (September 8).

It said that 54 people in Barisal Division (outside City Corporation), 91 in Chittagong Division (outside City Corporation), two in Dhaka, 52 in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 52 in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), and 65 in Corporation, 128 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 46 in Khulna Division (outside City Corporation) and 9 in Mymensingh Division (outside City Corporation), 10 in Rajshahi Division (outside City Corporation) and 54 in Chittagong Division (outside City Corporation). , there are six in Rangpur Division (outside City Corporation).

In 24 hours, 389 dengue patients were discharged from the hospital across the country, a total of 13 thousand 992 patients were discharged this year.

15 thousand 670 people have been infected with dengue till September 8 this year. Among them, 61.5 percent are male and 38.5 percent are female. One more person died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. A total of 96 people have died of dengue so far this year.

From January 1 to December 31, 2023, a total of 1,705 people died due to dengue, and a total of 3,21,179 people were hospitalized due to dengue.
