The holy Shab-e-Barat was observed on February 14. Accordingly, depending on the sighting of the moon, the Ramadan of 1446 Hijri is expected to begin on March 1 or 2.
Based on this, the Islamic Foundation has set the Sehri and Iftar schedule. On January 27, the foundation finalized the timetable for the month of Ramadan in 1446 Hijri.
According to the published schedule, as a precaution, the last time for Sehri has been set three minutes before Subh-e-Sadiq (dawn), while the time for Fajr prayer will begin three minutes after Subh-e-Sadiq.
As per the Islamic Foundation’s schedule, on the first day of Ramadan (March 2), the last time for Sehri in Dhaka will be 5:04 AM, and Iftar will be at 6:02 PM. On the last day of fasting, the Sehri time will end at 4:34 AM, and Iftar will be at 6:15 PM.
Additionally, the Islamic Foundation has stated that people in different regions of the country can adjust their Sehri and Iftar timings by adding or subtracting up to nine minutes based on their distance from Dhaka.
