Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team on winning the T20 series against Australia. In the third T-20 of the five-match series, the host Bangladesh defeated Australia by 10 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur today. With this victory, Bangladesh got a taste of winning a cricket series against Australia for the first time.
In a congratulatory message, the Prime Minister congratulated all the players, coaches and managers of the Bangladesh team for defeating Australia.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that the winning streak of the Bangladesh team would continue in the future as well.
Earlier, Bangladesh defeated Australia by 23 runs in the first T20 match and by 5 wickets in the second T20 match.
