Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, manufactured by US company Jensen Pharmaceuticals, would be given to the country’s floating population.
“We’ve got some Johnson & Johnson vaccines through Kovacs, with US assistance,” he said. They will be given very soon.
He made the remarks at a press conference at the BCPS auditorium in the capital’s Mohakhali on Sunday (January 30) at 11 am.
“Since Johnson’s vaccines are one dose, we have decided to give them to floating and day laborers,” the minister said. Their search is not always available because they do not have a specific address, and once given a dose, and they do not have to look for it later.
