Govt. is working to spread education to create a skilled workforce: Livestock Minister

Fisheries and Livestock Minister S M Rezaul Karim said the government was creating a skilled workforce, not certificate-based education.

On Monday, he spoke as the chief guest at a function organized on laying the foundation stone of Sriramkathi College at Sriramkathi Union in Nazirpur Upazila of Pirojpur. This was informed in a press release yesterday.

The Fisheries and Livestock Minister said there is no alternative to education if development continues. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the Prime Minister of an education-friendly government. Under his leadership, the first medical university was established in Bangladesh. Medical colleges, universities, and engineering universities are being set up in different departments and districts of the country on the government’s initiative under his leadership.

Sham Rezaul further mentioned that the present government wants to form an education-based, modern, and science-minded nation. We need to create a skilled workforce through certificate-based education and education.
