Prime Minister arrived in New York

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New York to attend the 78th General Session of the United Nations. He arrived at New York’s JFK International Airport at 8:50 a.m. Bangladesh time on Monday.

Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Muhammad Abdul Muhith and Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States Muhammad Imran received the Prime Minister at the airport.

Earlier on Sunday, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:12 am.

The flight arrived at JFK International Airport today after a four-hour layover at Heathrow Airport in London.
