Prime Minister at The Residence of Former Communications Minister Late Abul Hossain

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met with the family members of the late former Telecommunications Minister, Syed Abul Hossain. She spent some time with them and offered her condolences.

On Tuesday night, the Prime Minister visited Syed Abul Hossain’s residence in Gulshan, Dhaka. According to reliable sources, this information has been confirmed.

On the early morning of August 1, 1951, Syed Abul Hossain was born. He served as a Member of Parliament representing Madaripur-3 constituency for Bangladesh Awami League from 1991 to 2008. He was also elected as a Member of Parliament in consecutive elections during that time.

Notably, from 2009 to 2012, he served as the Minister of Post and Telecommunications and the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives for the Bangladesh government.
