Bombing of refugee camp kills Hamas commander, Israel says

The Israeli military has officially announced that they carried out an airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern region of Gaza, where at least 50 Palestinians have been reported dead in Tuesday’s attack. Approximately 150 people have been injured.

Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces, stated that Israeli warplanes targeted the Jabalia refugee camp. He mentioned that “terrorist organization” Hamas commanders were hiding there.

Hagari claimed that senior Hamas commander Ibrahim Bieri was killed in the airstrike, along with several other commanders from Hamas. He asserted that the attack on the refugee camp was specifically carried out to eliminate them.
