Plan to kill Sikhs in the United States has been foiled, the complaint is directed at Delhi

The American administration has condemned the plan to assassinate a Sikh activist residing in the United States, suspecting the involvement of New Delhi behind this plan. In view of this, Washington has cautioned India. This information has been reported by the Financial Times, a British news outlet. However, the report does not mention any source of information.

The Ministry of External Affairs of India has not immediately responded to these serious allegations. Despite efforts to contact the American embassy in New Delhi for information, no response has been obtained.

It is unclear whether the conspirators behind the assassination plan in the United States have been thwarted by the country’s protest or if the central investigative agency, the FBI, directly intervened and prevented the plan. The Financial Times report does not provide detailed information on this matter.

Previously, in the case of the murder of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh in Canada, India had strained relations with Canada. In June, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani Sikh residing in Canada, was murdered.

On September 18, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, standing in the country’s parliament, expressed suspicion of India’s involvement in the murder and requested India’s cooperation in the investigation.
