On Wednesday (February 28), on the second day of Police Week, at the parade ground of Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital, the Police Inspector General (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun awarded this badge, the second highest police award.
On Tuesday morning (February 27), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated Police Week 2024 by participating in the annual police parade at the Rajarbagh Police Lines ground.
On this day, she observed the disciplined and well-decorated parades of various contingents and flag-bearers of the police, and later delivered a directive speech for the police personnel.
Later, the Prime Minister awarded the Vice Chancellor and Police Medals to a total of 400 police personnel for their commendable work.”
