Bangladesh is standing at an important juncture in its history, Guterres wrote in the letter, in this transitional period to end violence, ensure accountability, restore law and order and set the path for democratic elections. Yunus’ leadership is very important. I hope your government will take an inclusive approach, taking into account the views of the youth and women as well as the minority and indigenous communities. It is up to the interim government of Bangladesh to ensure full protection of all citizens and especially minorities.
