She said, the aim of the Awami League is to establish the country as ‘Golden Bangladesh’ and the Bengalis as a self-respecting nation in the world.

After laying a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation, the Prime Minister stood there in silence for a while.

Then Awami League, Juba League, Chhatra League, Sramik League, Tati League, Krishak League, Projonmo League, Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance, Swechchhasebak League, Mahila Awami League paid their respects. Leaders and activists of Awami League’s affiliated organizations also paid their respects.

Ignoring the fear of the Corona epidemic, people of different ages paid homage and love to Bangabandhu.

On this day in 1949, the East Bengal Awami Muslim League made its debut in the Rose Garden on KM Das Road in the capital Dhaka.
