A notification has been issued relaxing the existing strict restrictions ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. A notification was issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday (July 13) relaxing the restrictions from midnight on July 14 to 8 am on July 23.

The Cabinet Division said in a circular on Tuesday that all restrictions imposed on the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha, public travel, pre-Eid trade and commerce, socio-economic conditions and economic activities of the country would be relaxed from midnight on July 14, 2021 to July 23 at 8 am. Yes.

However, at this time, the public must be vigilant and strictly follow the hygiene rules, including wearing a mask.

Besides, it has been decided to relax the lockdown considering the movement of people and trade in cattle market on the Eid-ul-Adha. At this time public transport will follow the hygiene rules. Shopping malls and shops will remain open. However, private offices will remain closed. And the activities of government offices will continue virtually.

A seven-day strict ban began at 8am on July 1 as coronavirus infections increased at an alarming rate. The ban lasted until midnight on July 6. Later, the ban was extended for another 7 days till midnight on July 14.
