Meanwhile, China and Pakistan will work together on the basis of close cooperation in the country in a changed situation such as the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, the cornering of Afghan troops, the escalation of Taliban attacks. The two foreign ministers also proposed the establishment of a China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a hub for regional connectivity.
