Prime Minister attending the 76th UN Conference

A limited two-week UN conference will be held in New York next September. This will be the first foreign visit of the Prime Minister after 19 months.

The foreign minister said, the 76th UN conference would be held in New York on a limited basis for two weeks from September 14. World leaders will begin speaking on September 21. The high-level conference will be held from September 21 to 26. We do not know which countries’ heads of state or government will be involved. But I hope Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead us. ‘

“This year’s conference will be very limited,” Momen said. The UN has asked for far fewer people to be evacuated. No side events will take place inside the UN headquarters.
